- 4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. corn meal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 lb. ground sausage meat
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar, meal, baking powder and salt.

2Sift together in a large bowl.

3Stir in vegetable oil.

4Add milk and blend.

5Add a couple of extra tablespoons of milk, if necessary, to form a stiff dough.

6Roll in rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

7Spread on sausage and roll jelly-roll fashion lengthwise.

8Wrap in waxed paper and chill or freeze.

9When ready to use, slice and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
