- 1 onion (sliced)
- 12 of the reserved cabbage (sliced thinly)
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cook the bacon and set aside.

2Add the onion and saute in the bacon grease until very tender, about 7-10 minutes.

3Add the cabbage, bacon, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and saute until the liquid disappears.
