Sauteed Peppers With Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 large yellow bell pepper
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Core, remove seeds and thinly slice peppers.

    In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-low heat.

    Add peppers.

    Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.

    Add the sugar, salt and vinegar and stir well.

    Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes more.

    Serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
