- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, halved
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Wash beans and trim ends; remove strings.

2Cut in half crosswise.

3Using an iron skillet, heat oil and add onion and garlic.

4Cook until onion is tender; discard garlic.

5Add beans, boiling water and remaining ingredients.
