  • 1 pheasant, cut in serving pieces
  • flour, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 medium onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Roll pheasant in flour with seasonings.

    Brown in shortening.

    Place in casserole.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over pheasant.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over wild rice.
