  • 3 lb. Salmon filet (preferably without skin)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Mexican (hot) chili powder
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cedar Plank

    Soak cedar plank for at least 20 minutes before grilling.

    Drizzle olive oil over salmon. Gently sprinkle garlic powder, chili powder, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper covering one side of the salmon completely. It will be a paste with the oil. Then, pack with brown sugar. Flip and do other side as well. Put cedar plank on grill until it pops, about 2-3 mins. Place salmon on top and leave there until flaky (approximately 20 mins). Serve directly from the plank. Enjoy!
