- 1 small head green cabbage, coarsely cut
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook cabbage in water for 10 minutes; drain.

2Melt butter. Add flour to make a smooth paste.

3Add milk; cook until thick. Add salt, pepper and cheese; mix well.

4Place cabbage in buttered baking dish.

5Pour sauce over; top with crumbs.

6Bake at 375° until bubbly and brown, 20 to 30 minutes.
