- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. grated onion
- buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook the carrots in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender.

2Drain.

3Melt butter.

4Add milk and vegetable liquid (1/4 cup) and cook slowly until thick.

5Add everything.

6Pour into a buttered baking dish and cover with buttered crumbs.

7Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
