  • carrots
  • onions, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 loaves 2 day old bread
  • 6 scallions
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 c. dry bread crumbs

    Put chicken in 2 quarts boiling water with carrots, onions and 2 teaspoons salt.
