Scalloped Onions

  • 12 small boiling onions
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1/2 c. blanched, sliced almonds
  • paprika
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Simmer onions with skins on until tender.

    Cool slightly and peel.

    Saute
