- butter or margarine
- pepper
- 8 Tbsp. cream
- oyster liquid

1Break 20 crackers into fourths; layer in bottom of casserole. Arrange half of the oysters on top.

2Dot with butter or margarine; sprinkle with pepper.

3Repeat the layer.

4Arrange remaining crackers.

6Mix cream and oyster liquid together; pour over all.

7Refrigerate 1 hour.

8Preheat oven to 400°.

9Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, but not dry.
