- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- dash of nutmeg
- 6 Idaho potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. Swiss cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place cream, butter, garlic and nutmeg in pan.

2Simmer on low heat about 10 minutes until cream reduced to 2 cups and thickens slightly.

3Butter casserole and arrange 1/3 potatoes in dish.

4Add 1/3 combination cheeses.

5Season with salt, 3 layers up.

6Dot with butter; add cream to cover casserole.

7Bake in 300° oven for 1 hour.
