  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
