- 4 c. canned tomatoes
- 4 slices dry bread
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 stick butter
Directions

1Toast the bread and butter it.

2Dice bread into 1/2-inch pieces and combine with tomatoes.

3Add sugar and spices.

4Pour into greased casserole dish and top with rest of butter.

5Bake at 350° until lightly browned, 30 to 40 minutes.
