  • 3 5/8 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 egg beaten

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius.

    In a bowl, add the flour, yeast, and sugar. Mix and add the butter, dissolve using your hands. Make a hole in the middle of the flour and add the milk and raisins. Knead until the dough is sticky.

    Divide the dough and shape into spheres. Flatten and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with the beaten egg.

    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Serve warm, spread with butter, honey, or jam.
