  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. breadcrumbs

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except eggs and breadcrumbs.

    Press sausage and seasoning mixture around hard-boiled eggs.

    Roll egg in beaten eggs, then in breadcrumbs.

    Cook one at a time in 350° deep fryer, 4 to 5 minutes.
