Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle butterscotch morsels
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

Directions

    Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda and set aside.

    Combine in a bowl the sugar, butter and eggs.

    Beat until creamy.

    Gradually blend flour mixture with milk; add creamy mixture.

    Stir in rolled oats, Nestle butterscotch morsels, raisins and chopped nuts (if desired).

    Drop by well rounded tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 14 to 16 minutes.

    Makes 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
