  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. butter, softened

Directions

    Cut in butter using electric mixer or pastry blender to form dough.

    Press into 13 x 9-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) cake pans.

    Bake 5 minutes at 375° and then 45 minutes at 300°.
