- 1 lb. butter
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Leave butter out all night in a covered bowl.

2When it is nice and creamy, add sugar.

3Beat a few minutes, then add 1 cup flour at a time.

4It gets lumpy, so put it on a cookie sheet and pat it smooth with your hands.

5Then cut in squares and bake in a slow oven until golden brown.

6Remove from oven and with knife, go over the lines again.

7(I use a cookie sheet with sides.)
