  • 2 lb. mixed salted nuts
  • 1 (12 1/2 oz.) bite size pkg. Shredded Wheat squares (wheat size)
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. Cheerios
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) pkg. bite-size rice squares (Rice Chex)
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can or pkg. pretzels (bits or twists)
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. pretzel sticks
  • 1 box Cheese Tid-Bits
  • 1 pkg. Fritos
  • 2 or 2 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. onion salt

Directions

    Mix the salad oil, Worcestershire sauce and season salts together well in a bowl and pour over all the other ingredients, which have been mixed together in a large roaster.

    Try to distribute the oil mixture over as much of the cereals, etc., as possible.

    Bake in a very slow oven (250°) for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring and turning mixture with a wooden spoon every 15 to 20 minutes.

    Be careful not to crush cereals.
