  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 c. Angel Flake coconut

    Bake yellow cake as directed on box in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Let cool.

    Using toothpick or fork, punch holes in cake.

    Heat pineapple and sugar in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, heating until sugar melts.

    Spread over cake.

    Prepare vanilla pudding as directed on box and spread over cake, pouring to the edges.
