- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Directions

1Bake yellow cake as directed on box in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Let cool.

3Using toothpick or fork, punch holes in cake.

4Heat pineapple and sugar in a saucepan.

5Bring to a boil, heating until sugar melts.

6Spread over cake.

7Prepare vanilla pudding as directed on box and spread over cake, pouring to the edges.

8Cover and refrigerate overnight.

9Before serving, spread Cool Whip over cake and sprinkle with coconut.
