  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. each, chopped: green pepper, onion and celery
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 (10 oz.) can frozen cream of shrimp soup
  • 1 can lobster, cut up
  • 1 (7 3/4 oz.) can crabmeat, drained and boned
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can tiny shrimp, drained
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs

    Melt 1/2 cup butter in a 2-quart saucepan.

    Add the chopped green pepper, onion and celery; saute until tender.

    Stir in the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic salt and salt.

    Cook, stirring until thick.
