- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 beaten egg whites
Directions

1Boil first 3 ingredients until syrup cracks when dropped from teaspoon in cold water (about 262° on candy thermometer).

2Pour slowly into beaten egg whites and beat until desired firmness. You will have to beat the last with a spoon.

3Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.

4Flavorings or nuts may be added during the final beating.
