Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
  • 1 c. thinly sliced carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. milk or substitute 1 c. half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. blended herbs
  • 1 c. cubed fish
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 1 c. diced potatoes

Directions

    Saute onion and carrots in butter until onion is tender. Sprinkle with flour and stir.

    Add water, salt and pepper and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer approximately 30 minutes.

    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
