- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
- 1 c. thinly sliced carrots
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. milk or substitute 1 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. blended herbs
- 1 c. cubed fish
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1 c. diced potatoes
Directions

1Saute onion and carrots in butter until onion is tender. Sprinkle with flour and stir.

2Add water, salt and pepper and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.

3Add remaining ingredients and simmer approximately 30 minutes.

4Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
