Seafood Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. cut up bacon
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans minced or whole clams, lobster or other seafood
  • 2 c. finely diced raw potatoes
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Saute in large kettle bacon and onion.

    Add liquor from cans of seafood, potatoes and water.

    Cook about 10 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

    Just before serving, add clams or other seafood, 2 cups milk, salt and pepper.

    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

    Serve immediately.
