  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb blue mussels
  • 1 lb small clam
  • 16 jumbo shrimp
  • 8 roma tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 ounces extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 ounces white wine
  • salt and pepper, to taste

    In a large saucepan, add olive oil and garlic.

    Saute until golden brown.

    Add blue mussels, clams and while wine.

    Simmer about 1 minute.

    Then add diced tomatoes, pepper flakes, parsley, basil and black pepper.

    Simmer for about 4 minutes.

    The final step is to add the al dente pre-cooked spaghetti.
