  • 1 box chocolate cake mix Duncan Hines
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 can chocolate frosting Duncan Hines
  • 8 ounces cream cheese pkg., at room temperature

Directions

    Mix cake as directed.

    Line cupcake pans with paper.

    Mix egg, cream cheese, sugar, salt and chocolate chips in a small bowl.

    Fill cupcake liners 1/2 full.

    Add 1 tbsp. cream cheese mixture to each.

    Top with a small amount of cake, mix just to cover the cream cheese, or to bring the cake to two thirds full.

    Bake at 350 F oven for 20-25 minutes.

    Frost when cool with chocolate frosting of your choice.
