- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 dashes cayenne pepper
- ice water
- 1 c. sesame seed
Directions

1Cut butter into flour combined with salt and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle ice water over dough and toss with fork until dough holds together as for pastry.

2Roll out on floured board to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into 1 x 3-inch strips.

3Place on ungreased baking sheet; sprinkle generously with sesame seed and bake at 325° for about 15 minutes.

4Before removing from pan and while still hot, sprinkle with a little salt.

5May be frozen.

6Yield: about 2 dozen sticks.
