- 3 sticks Heritage butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 5 Heritage eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. 7-Up (not opened)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream sugar, butter or margarine and eggs.

3Add flour one cup at a time, mix well.

4Add vanilla and mix; add 7-Up last.

5Beat for 20 minutes; pour into tube cake pan. Do not grease or flour the pan.

6Bake for 45 minutes for 1 hour or until knife inserted comes out clean.

7When cake is done, loosen with knife around edges.

8Cool in pan on wire rack for 1/2 hour.

9Loosen again, put cake on serving dish and sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
