Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 4 Tbsp. pure vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. leftover meat, cubed
  • 3 c. cooked vegetables
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/4 c. bouillon stock or gravy
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • biscuit dough (2 c. recipe)

    Brown onion in oil.

    Stir in salt, pepper and flour.

    Heat; add meat, vegetables, tomato sauce, bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.

    Heat thoroughly.

    Pour into 2-quart casserole.

    Roll biscuit dough 1/4-inch thick for top crust and cover.

    Fill with 2-inch biscuits.
