Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. margarine
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups diced cooked meat (stew beef)
  • 1 1/2 cups diced vegetables (veg all)
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups hot mashed potatoes

Directions

    Melt margarine in frying pan.

    Add onions and saute 3 minutes. Add meat, vegetables (drained), tomato soup.

    Stir over low heat until well mixed and thoroughly heated.

    Season to taste.

    Pour mixture into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole.

    Cover with mashed potatoes and bake at 400° about 15 minutes until potatoes are light brown. 6 servings.
