  • 1 1/2 lb. stew beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, plus 1 can water
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 small can chopped mushrooms
  • 1/3 c. cooking sherry

Directions

    Put beef in a 2-quart casserole dish with cover.

    Mix and heat remaining ingredients; pour mixture over beef.

    Cover dish; bake at 325° for 3 hours.

    Serve over noodles, rice or potatoes.
