- 12 to 14 ladyfingers
- 3 egg yolks, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 3 egg whites
- 1 Tbsp. gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1 tsp. vanilla or 4 Tbsp. sherry or rum
Directions

1Line a medium size spring-form pan with ladyfinger halves. Combine egg yolks and sugar.

2Beat cream until stiff.

3Beat egg whites until stiff.

4Soak gelatin in cold water; dissolve in hot water and combine with egg yolk mixture.

5Fold in whipped cream and egg whites.

6Add flavoring; pour into ladyfinger lined pan and chill until firm.
