Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Jell-O Brand berry blue flavor gelatin
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 c. thawed Cool Whip
  • additional thawed Cool Whip
  • 4 marshmallows
  • colored sugar

Directions

    Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water.

    Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups of ice and water.

    Add to gelatin, stirring until gelatin is slightly thickened.

    Remove any unmelted ice.

    Refrigerate until gelatin is thick enough to softly mound.

    Spoon thickened gelatin into dessert dishes alternately with spoonfuls of whipped topping to form clouds.

    Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.

    Garnish with additional whipped topping, then marshmallows cut into star shapes and slightly moistened. Sprinkle with colored sugar.
