  • 4 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (8 oz.) can drained sauerkraut
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • parsley flakes

Directions

    Spread cabbage in large casserole dish.

    Mix rice, pork sausage, seasonings and sauerkraut.

    Spread over cabbage.

    Mix tomato paste with water.

    Pour over mixture.

    Bake covered 1 1/2 hours at 300°.

    Remove from oven.

    Spread sour cream on top. Spread raw biscuits and sprinkle with parsley.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes until brown at 400°.
