  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 c. seasoned tomato sauce
  • 1 to 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna or wide noodles
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti mix and garlic.

    Simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Salt to taste.

    Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender; drain and rinse in cold water.
