- 4 or 6 short ribs
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. chili sauce (barbecue)
- 1 (12 oz.) jar pineapple preserves (found in A & P)
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.

2Add 1/2 cup water and cover; simmer in Dutch oven about 2 hours.

3Add more water during cooking, if pot is dry.

4Combine barbecue sauce, pineapple preserves and vinegar in a bowl and pour over ribs.

5Cook 20 minutes more or until meat is tender.

6Serve with medium broad noodles.
