- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Set butter to soften.

2Knead in sugar until creamy.

3Add flour, mixing with fingers.

4Roll dough (dough will be stiff) and cut cookies with a 2-inch cookie cutter.

5Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Pierce each cookie in center with a table fork. Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.

6Watch carefully!

7Remove just as they have a slight tint.
