Ingredients

  • 1 small green pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 lb. cleaned shrimp

Directions

    Simmer all ingredients except shrimp and cornstarch, about 10 minutes.

    Add shrimp; simmer another 10 minutes.

    Add enough water to cornstarch to mix well.

    Pour into cooked mixture and mix. Serve over cooked rice.
