- 1/3 c. onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. celery, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen, cooked shrimp, thawed
- hot cooked rice (optional)
Directions

2medium skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.

3Add garlic powder and celery.

4Saute 3 minutes.

5Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and rice. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes. Add shrimp.

6Heat through over low heat.

7Discard bay leaf.

8Serve over rice.
