Shrimp Dish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 big onions, diced
  • 3 or possibly 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 sm. cans mushrooms, liquid removed (reserve juice)
  • 2 cans French style string beans, liquid removed
  • 1 1/2 c. rice (boiled in 3 c. water, 2 tbsp. oil, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt)
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp or possibly 1 pound cut-up chicken cutlets into bite-size pcs

Directions

    Cook rice and put aside.

    Saute/fry onions and celery in 2-3 tsp.

    oil or possibly more, if necessary, till tender, 5 min.

    Add in the mushrooms and the string beans.

    Stir into mushroom and onion mix, the shrimp or possibly chicken.

    Cook, stirring often, for 5-7 min.

    Combine with rice and serve.

    VARIATION: Add in some of mushroom juice to onion, celery, shrimp mix and serve with rice on the side.
