Shrimp Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3 small pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped celery
  • 16 oz. cleaned and shredded shrimp
  • salt and white pepper to taste

    Bring undiluted soup to boil.

    Melt cheese in soup.

    Dissolve gelatin in water at room temperature.

    Add gelatin mixture to soup mixture; let cool.

    Add all other ingredients, except shrimp.

    Let cool in refrigerator for 5 minutes.

    Add shrimp and pour into a well-greased mold.
