  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. shrimp (fresh or frozen), shelled and deveined
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. lemon peel, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
  • rice, hot and cooked
  • parsley, chopped
  • lemon peel, shredded

    Thaw

    and devein. Gently pat

    dry with a paper towel.

    In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add onions, garlic, lemon peel, lemon juice, salt

    and hot pepper sauce.

    Cook until boiling point, add shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink.

    Serve with hot cooked rice, top with parsley and lemon peel.
