Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. shelled and deveined shrimp
  • 4 tsp. all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp, or more, minced garlic
  • 2 oz. dry white wine
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • fresh lemon slices

Directions

    Dredge shrimp in flour and set aside.

    In 9 inch skillet heat oil; add garlic and saute until golden.
  3. 3
    Add shrimp to skillet and saute, turning occasionally until shrimp begin to turn pink (about 3 minutes).

    Add wine and bring to boil; cook about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper and remove from heat. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

    Serves two.
