Shrimp Stroganoff

  • 2 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 1 large celery heart, chopped
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dash of Tabasco

Directions

    Saute onions, garlic and celery.

    Add shrimp and cook until shrimp turn pink.

    Add flour and mix well.

    Add seasonings and mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, green onion and parsley.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Add sour cream.

    Serve over steamed rice or pasta.
