- 1 lb. raw Gulf shrimp
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Peel and clean shrimp.

2Saute shrimp and onion in oleo for 10 minutes or until shrimp are pink and tender.

3Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes more.

4Sprinkle in flour, salt and pepper.

5Stir in sour cream and cook gently for 10 minutes, not allowing mixture to boil.

6Serve over rice.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings.
