- 2 large lemons
- 12 cup granulated sugar
- 5 teaspoons sugar
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 5 quarts boiling water
- 18 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 15 raisins
Directions

1Peel lemons with (just zest) with veg.

5In 6-8 qt bowl place lemon peel lemon slices and sugar (minus 5 tsps).

6Pour water over and stir let cool to tepid.

7Stir in yeast.

8Let stand 12 hrs uncovered.

9Add 3 raisins and 1 tsp sugar to each bottle.

10Strain into bottle (5 qts bottles) with lids or corks and seal.

11Let stand at room temp for 1-2 days until raisins float.

12Chill till ready to serve.
