Simmered Flounder Fish

- 3 pieces Flounder fish
- 150 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 5 slice Thinly sliced ginger
Directions

1Put the water and seasonings in a saucepan and bring to the boil.

2Turn the heat to medium, and add the fish and ginger slices.

3Cover with a sheet of aluminium foil so it fits right over the fish (as a drop-lid).

4Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes so all the flavours blend.

5Transfer to serving plates and enjoy.
