  • 1/4 c pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups lightly packed basil leaves
  • 1/4 c parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • black pepper to taste

Directions

    Lightly toast pine nuts until golden brown, approx 3 min.

    In a food processor combine garlic & pine nuts, blend.

    add the basil, cheese and lemon juice, blend.

    While blending, slowly pour in oil. season with pepper.
