Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 (16 ounce) cans chili beans, undrained
  • 2 (1 3/4 ounce) packages chili seasoning mix
  • 1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice

Directions

    Brown ground chuck and onion in a skillet until meat crumbles; drain.

    In large pot (at least 5 quart size), combine beans and other ingredients.

    Add meat mixture and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer stirring occasionally for 2 hours.

    Serve with saltines or bread.
